SOUND SAUCE WAS A VENTURE INTO MUSIC JOURNALISM THAT AIMED TO CUT THE NOISE.

Music journalism can be tedious. Journalists can go on for hours about an album, a single, or an artist in general.

But in an era of short attention spans, particularly on social media, how do you cut through and keep journalism alive and respected, and still adhere to consumers’ ruthless attitude to content?

Enter 'Sound Sauce', a digital magazine editorial based around new music and live show reviews. I managed the project from end-to-end, liaising with press agencies, management teams and major labels to promote artists, talent and releases.

The feature was released on Instagram and Facebook, becoming a successful and credible part of UNILAD Sound’s content offering and further development into the top global Facebook music page in 2018, with over 600,000 unique weekly viewers.
